About Us
Growing good citizens by example
The methodology of our teaching is influenced by the Reggio Emilia and Waldorf way of education. At Yellow House Preschool and Afterschool, we follow a green approach and are very serious about recycling and living in harmony with nature. All the indoor and garden furniture is made of recycled material. We have a mini food forest in our garden. Children learn by doing and seeing. We try to give them as many authentic experiences as possible.
Our focus is on free play and physical activities for children. We have tried to build an atmosphere that is homelike and friendly with different types of areas to explore, play and learn. There are outdoor garden areas, playhouses, pretend play areas, bright classrooms, an in-house kitchen , 2000 sqft covered terrace with grass mat for multi-purpose use. We have a 5.2 KVA solar plant on our roof and all our electricity needs are met by solar energy.

Nursery Curriculum
Our nursery curriculum provides a nurturing, play-enriched environment where children blossom into confident learners through joyful exploration and meaningful routines. Every day is a blend of discovery, creativity, and community that fosters early academic skills, independence, and social-emotional growth.

Lower Kindergarten Curriculum
Our Lower Kindergarten curriculum is designed to spark a love for learning while building essential foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and general awareness. Through playful activities, creative expression, and thoughtful exploration, children become confident thinkers and joyful learners.

Upper Kindergarten Curriculum Overview
Building on strong phonics foundations, our Upper Kindergarten program empowers young learners to become confident readers, budding mathematicians, and curious explorers. With a perfect blend of structured academics, creative expression, and practical life skills, children blossom intellectually and socially.

Class 1 Curriculum Overview
Class 1 marks a pivotal year in building lifelong learning habits and laying down the academic foundations for future success. Our rigorous curriculum, aligned with the ICSE framework and Cambridge publications, emphasizes balanced skill development across all subjects while nurturing curiosity and independence.

Class 2 Curriculum Overview
In Class 2, children are encouraged to think independently, express themselves creatively, and dive deeper into core academic subjects. This year builds on foundational skills with increased complexity and application, nurturing confident learners who can analyze, communicate, and contribute meaningfully.
